Totara Hill Montessori
Nīkau Montessori School owes much of its inspiration and momentum to Totara Hill Montessori, founded by Tia Wooler. From the very beginning, Tia and the incredible team at Totara Hill have been pivotal in supporting the vision and development of our school—offering their time, energy, ideas, and wholehearted encouragement.
The beautiful learning environment at Totara Hill, shaped by passionate, experienced educators, has not only nurtured many young tamariki, but also served as a living example of what is possible when Montessori philosophy is truly lived.
We are deeply grateful for the shared values, collaboration, and friendship that continue to connect our two communities, and we acknowledge the important role Totara Hill has played in the roots of Nīkau Montessori School.
